Importing Commercial Van for CamperVan

    I'm looking at doing my 2nd camper conversion.

    Apparently registering an N.Ireland 2nd hand commercial van in the south is only a few hundred.

    I'm wondering would that in anyway come back to bite me when I went to change into a campervan?

    Ideally I'll just buy an Irish Van but I want a specific model and it can be hard to find second hand -

    Thanks for the help if anyone has knowledge on this - it's very difficult to find info online…

    You would pay €200 VRT for a panel van, and then down the road once you pay the 13.3% VRT for camper registration, the €200 comes off the total.

    Obvs familiarise yourself with how customs and VAT works for NI, qualifying vehicles etc etc.
