Made this up from the remnants of a CA Sportsline, new Dboys drop in gearbox added(comes with 7mm bearings and bearing spring guide included, very nice:)) and Magpul MOE stock and foregrip. Green MIAD grip and metal body on the way to complete it:)

Photos aren't the clearest unfortunately.:o

Custom fabricated snub nose barrel, not all that hard to do, and has re sparked my interest in the bell m10.

Any one with a hack saw, file, some epoxy putty or chemical metal and a can of spray paint could do this to their bell m10, you don't need to remake a barrel, you can chop the old one, the inner barrel and inner spring and it will work once you use the putty to make a new inner bushing for the spring and to guide the inner barrel. I think it looks kinda snazzy.

CTR Magpul stock (for anyone else with a STAR / ARES M4 you need a COMMERCIAL stock , no other one will fit)

Also changed the grip for the MIAD one , and the sling is the magpul Multi mission Sling attached by the magpul Ambidextrous sling mount

Internally :
6.03 Promethius barrel
Modify speed gearset
Madbull Blue hop rubber
G&P M120 Motor.

Bought this KJW M9/92Fs from Hobby Airsoft in Rathcoole on Saturday morning for €130 and €23 for the extra mag:).
I havent had the chance to chrono it yet but i heard that it is very close to the 328 mark:D
I am considering getting the under-rail flashlight but have yet to decide,but if they are worth the buy let me know:)

Pick up a can of OD spray paint at the Salute, and recently got quite bored.

Much to disapproval of some team mates i decided to use it on my m4.
This is the end result.

The lighting's a bit pants, it's a bit bright there but in normal light it actually looks half decent.

Just thought I'd throw this pic up of my work in progress VSR to see what people think of it so far.
Just the black pattern to go now.
Scope, Bipod and Killflash ARD still need to be painted fully.
Should have it completed tomorrow so I'll throw the finished product up if anyones interested?!?!
Not perfect by any means but not bad for my first Digi Camo attempt I reckon.

I finally completed my VSR project tonight.
Thought I'd throw up a few pics, see what you think?!?!

It has a Laylax airseal chamber, 510mm Gunners Armoury 6.03 barrel(to the tip of silencer) and a PDI 110 spring.
Its firing pretty much bang on 1 joule.
Harris style bipod.
Also has a replica M3a illuminated scope with Killflash ARD(honeycomb filter)which is class by the way as you can zero for different ranges and windage on the fly.
I love this rifle.:D

Some pics are a bit blurry(taken off my phone so its understandable).
CADPAT camo was a pain in the ring but I'm really happy with it now.
Not perfect by any means but close enough for my liking.
Ran out of paint by the end so the scope is a bit messy in parts.
Doesn't bother me too much as it seems to blend pretty well with my CADPAT uniform.

UPDATE:I put up a better pic in natural light.

Going to continue the "AK" theme

Just gave my aks 74 grips a makeover. Just sanded and gave a clear varnish. I kinda like the look but not sure. Let me know what you think

A very, very rought first attempt at polished slide. This was done using extremely rough paper and then ultra fine paper, as I had nothing else, so its a bit rough and there's some bad surface scratching on the other side of the slide. Trip to town tomorrow should solve some of that.

Well I didn't have any of the fancy tools The Joker utilized for his Glock slide for my finished article, just a fresh handful of sandpaper (from the 2 euro store!) and some cheap 2 euro polish. Still came out okay, I have to say I prefer the more rough flat finish over the glossy reflective one anyway...so I'm happy overall with what I consider a much cooler look. Now...If I've had a palm sander and dremel, what took about 90 minutes would have taken 15, and the surface finish would have been a lot better (some mild scratching on one side where I initially used extremely coarse paper)...but oh well! You have to start somewhere. Oh...and here's my AEG as well underneath, forgot about it. Ignore historical inaccuracy, I LIKE IT AND ITS FINE OKAY?!

As Borat would say I like!

Have not fired it yet & Mounts are not high enough for the scope
as its a 56mm objective lens as far as I can remember.
(And mounts are only suited for a 40mm)

Barrel twists/rotates a little got to look at that, and when you dry fire
it feels like the spring or something near the spring bounces a few times before stopping.

Finished this awhile ago, but I haven't been on-line in ages. Its pretty much done. Just waiting on a different foregrip, need to cover the battery wires and Ill be putting ranger plates on the mags.

Yes I'm a lefty, that ambidextrous mag release thing is a god send.

This is my new addition, thanks to thermo.

The plan is to install either a K98 or bar 10 bolt in there in place of the existing one and to keep the original bolt lever itself. shes a lovely quality piece and solid as a rock, This should be an interesting project.

I'll post some pics up when shes finished. Hopefully i'll get time to butcher her this weekend.

Finally finished this today after about 2 months, posted pics before of it without the new pistol grip and the internal mods. Just noticed now the trigger guard isn't locked in place:o

Internally has:

-Drop in Dboys gearbox(with bearings etc standard)
-Prometheus 6.03 barrel
-Guarder Silicone hop up
-G&P M120 motor(really makes a difference to it).:)
