Now that would be a dream!

Looks like Ben Arfa is going to sign link

Interesting point made on .com about Carroll yesterday
Regardless of what has been said by United, there's still an element of doubt in our mind over Carroll's future, given that recent trip to London for an MRI scan on his damaged thigh. Why go all the way down there, unless someone else is interested in the results?

Ben Arfa signs a four and a half year contract.

Good news at last. Now it's time to keep Enrique, sign another left back and young striker.... We can't lose anybody.

As do I. Despite only a handful of games fans seem to have a good rapport with him so hopefully he can repay some of that back.

Looks to be a quality player. Having said that, I did say that about Laurent Robert.....

Meh. Never really took to him to be honest. There was a handful of games that I can remember him being remotely decent.

Never worth the ten million we paid for him.

Gona have to disagree with you there bud, great crosser of the ball, created a shed load of goals along with Nobby! Robert 36 assists(top 25 all time in the PL), Solano 42

Anyway looks like we told spurs to feck off link

Srsly? Didn't realise that. Fairly fookin' impressive. Don't remember him being that good.

yup, considering he was only there for 4 seasons thats very impressive. He was at derby and pompey but didn't play too much AFIK

select all seasons and then assists in the players column.

I've take David Bentley way before Robbie Keane.
Just really hope we don't sign Keano.!

Great to sign Hatem Ben Arfa, a little coup if I may say so myself. :)

nufc blog reporting that our right wing problem may have a solution. Had actually forgotten about the lad! Like a new signing!

also talk of Ameobi getting a Nigeria callup (again), with the coach set to travel to England this week

Nice one, at least Gosling will offer another option, I'd rather see him in there ahead of Routledge.

Pleased too with roping in Ben Arfa, hopefully he comes back soon and it'll be kinda like a new signing.

I wouldn't think getting Keane would be too bad, he might be able to do a job for us and he'd at least offer more than what Lovenkrands and Best can offer. Having Carroll and then Ameobi and Keane fighting for the 2nd striker role would give us some options. Not sure about Bentley, I'd rather us concentrate on getting a left back for cover on Jose.

    From Twitter:
will Spurs be buying Nolan as well so Andy Carroll has somewhere to live?

was going to report that post for an obvious troll/case of insanity, but you speak the truth!

Whats the craic with Ameobi? must be off somewhere? *EDIT injured, no details yet

Ranger should be ahead of both

Newcastle United: Harper, Simpson, S.Taylor, Coloccini, Jose Enrique, Barton, Tiote, Nolan, Jonas Gutierrez, Lovenkrands, Best

Subs: Krul, Williamson, Perch, Ferguson, Guthrie, Routledge, Ranger

West Ham United: Green, Ben Haim, Tomkins, Upson, Gabbidon, Sears, Kovac, Parker, Noble, Piquionne, Cole

Subs: Boffin, Reid, Spector, Behrami, Barrera, Obinna, Hines

You've got to admire Levy's financial acumen.

I wouldn't dream of trolling on here :P

I think you'll still win anyway, home advantage along with goalscoring midfielders should see you through.

    Ha'way West Ham ;)

West Ham shocking, complete dominance from Newcastle

    Goal crafted by Bartons vision.
