tried using imageshack but all i get is a link, but with other sites a picture appears...if you get my drift

Don't imageshack give you the proper code to embed the image in forums once you upload? Just copy and paste it.

yes thats what i did but it only appears as a link to the picture.

on this site i can't seem to get a picture to appear directly on a page

use [img][/img] tags around it..

but thats just plain annoying in a thread if its big (like desktop pics unless you're using a 12" monitor

I use Rocketdock with Reflections icon suite for the dock.

Avedesk with Sysstats plugin and Lucid weather for the weather widget

Everything else is plain old Vista.

Can I ask where you got that background and the side widgets? I have Vista 64bit Ultimate and the spinning globe sounds great.

:rolleyes: Get yerself Stardock Deskscape to allow you use .dream files as your dreamscene. The dream file is here, you'll only get 2 free.

Gadgets i'm using are system control, multi meter 4 core, multi sensor (need full version of Everest for this) and network meter

Windows XP , modified the uxtheme.dll and then found this visual style on deviantart. I always have my taskbar at the top too , I think it started cause of experimenting with ubuntu and now it just seems completely normal to have it there.
