Pearse Doherty, the newly elected Sinn Féin TD for Donegal, is playing an absolute blinder on RTÉ 1 television this moment in his condemnation of the budget. Amazing passion and anger there. We need much more of that.

Dont be drawn into him - I think he has serious talent - in the Hitler kinda way!!

No Mary Coughlan is still there.

The minister could not even be arsed to present until the end of the day to face criticism from opposition benches. Says it all.

This whole country is a joke.

Yes I like Pearse Doherty. He talks a good talk. I just hope he walks a good walk too.

Still, the passion is a start.

Yeah, but no solution and no insight. Criticism is fine when you have a view.

He does have a view: what is being done at the moment is completely wrong and unsustainable.
We cannot afford to borrow insane amounts of money to bail out banks.

Mary was on her phone texting her booty call. She'll bounce soon enough.

Anyways who gives a fúck that Pearse ain't offering alternatives. He's getting to say a lot of the shíte the average Irish person would love to say to the Dáil and on tv.

Extricate ourselves from the melding of bank/sovereign debt that was foisted on us by this govt and will ultimately sink us.
There are ways to do this that have been out-lined in articles/interviews by many economists both national and international.
If you're interested, you'll be able to find them.

Coughlan sat there laughing, she should be dragged out by her ears.

She took out her phone and was checking it when he was speaking. How fecking rude, the auld cow.

Also, this has no relevance to anything, but how much does Pearse look like Danny Dyer? :pac:
