Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Was at the Newtonards show (infact my grinning mug is right there in that photo), first indy show I've been to. Was impressed, good fun show, shame I only caught what will probably be Devitts last local indy appearance for a good while.

She is a fit girl. Nobody tells Devitt to eat a sandwich :pac:

I dunno, could be the angle that she's standing at but she looks painfully thin. I mean it looks like she basically has no hips

    Ian Perry sent this report.

I'm at a Progress Wrestling show in London, England, and Prince Devitt was a mystery guest in what was later announced as "his last UK show before heading to the United States".

Curious wording. He hasn't done any shows in mainland Europe either. So does he have one last Irish show?

Obviously he is signing with TNA. That's why they are doing BFG in Tokyo :pac:

I was at the Revolution Pro show a few weeks back and they said the same thing as he left the ring.

Dunkan and Devitt had a very different match to the one I had in my head following along with the series. Thought we would have utter chaos with run ins. But Wrestling.ie was far more senisble keeping it one on one if you are
crowning a new Champion in their hometown. Dunkan is totally the right choice too as looks, talks and Wrestles the part.

Devitt in Wrestling.ie has been a lot of fun. Working as pure villain with few smarks in the crowd and without the tedious Bullet Club that plagued some of his matches in New Japan.

And there's people online who want Devitt to do this every day for the rest of his Wrestling career:

The Backstage Body Paint interview is gas. Devitt is a wee charmer and his relationship with his artist (Kate) is funny.

He gives nothing away about WWE. Kate is asked by the interviewer could she see herself painting Devitt in a years time (as in you will run out of character). Likely knowing Devitt is going to WWE she gives your man a deer in the headlights look.

I really need to prioritise the Progress Wrestling show I posted the praise online has been really high. Strong match card but the presentation and venue sounds really striking:

    PWInsider
Now that WWE has officially announced KENTA has been signed, we've been asked a lot about Fergal "Prince" Devitt coming in. We are told he is signed and an official announcement is indeed forthcoming, but there's been no real timetable as to when that may be.

I guess this Tweet yesteday was Devitt's way of celebrating it:

    YAY!

Devitt tweeting about the sacrifices it takes to become a wrestler, and Sami Zayn responds with; 'Amen brother, now let's take over'

I only watch clips from NXT here and there, but my interest will go up 100% when Devitt goes there.

I'm absolutely ecstatic! He deserves to be showcased on such a large stage. I'm foaming at the mouth with the thoughts of NXT going forward. Zayn,Kenta,Steen,Devitt, Lynch all on the one roster. It's heaven.

Obviously as with Kenta there's the worry that they'll try to change him and his style but it mightn't be the case.

After meeting him at the FFPW show and realising he really is a true gent and a fan I hope he continues to do the Irish fans proud.

Any chance them announcing it like this means he'll be keeping his name?

It's a funny one. When Sin Cara was signed they'd announced he was going from mistico to Cara. Kenta and Devitt have been announced under their current names.
It could be a case of just creating a buzz around them only to later choose a character in NXT. Until either debut we'll have to just speculate.

I know others won't agree and will simply circle jerk but it's the biggest mistake of his career in my mind.
