To be honest 1099 is alot of money these days for just a base tower.

I can't make out all the specs, but a Pentium D would be a bad buy for this price.

I'd expect an AMD x2 for this price, Pentium D's are actually quiet underpowered in comparison. I'd wait for a system with a x2 or the new Intel Conroe chips that look like real performers.

I'd like to answer "yes" to that question and I'm interested myself but I'd really like to know who the HDD manufacturer is (Medion?)... I only buy Maxtor myself...
