hi boardsies, i know most of u know me, but will stick a sales pitch in here anyway, im going to prague to play the ept this day next week, and to defray some of the costs, im selling some percentages.

ive played one ept before, dublin 06, where i came 48th out of about 400, losing with top set 99 all in on 98x board to JJ for double average chips at the time, grrrr.
Ive also 2 wsop cashes from 3 attempts including 126th in the main event in 2006.

ive 9 hendon mob entries this year, including 6 final tables in 500+ buy in tourneys from 10 attempts, ive also a 70% final table ratio in all live games i have played in ireland this year. (a record no one else is even remotely close to).

I just chopped the 1k game in the SE last week, after coming 8th in waterford the week before, and now today im on the FT on the 300 game in cork, a decent finish will send me top of the irish rankings.

I also won my vegas seat this year in a live sat in the fitz.

So, im charging €300 for 5% or €600 for 10% of my action in prague, its a €5k buy in, should get a large field (2 x 300 day 1 expected) and it will be fully reported on several sites including blonde and cardplayer.

Ive about 25-30% left to sell on here, so reply to this or send me a pm if you are interested.

    Thanks

Really don't agree with you taking your own little fee here Rob. Doesn't seem fair that you are asking people to contribute towards your other expenses, its not as if you're strapped for cash.

Its all the rage these days. I lol'd reading this thread.

    Waterford open staking thread

I also remember talking to a complete donkey in vegas about how he sold 50% of his action for the full stake into the ME.

The thing about Rob is, no-one is asking you to buy any percentage and everyone on here can do their own maths and see that Rob is selling for 20% above what the actual value of the shares are worth. But the fact is he's sold 25% within 4 hours of putting the thread up an he could sell a lot more if he wanted to because people know a good deal when they see one.

Good luck to Rob and the extra you make can freeroll you with hookers for the week :):):)

Rob would have more than 5k equity in this event

although its a 5k buy in its really a 6k buy in with travel and expenses, if I was selling %s for this ( which I'm not ) I would charge exactly what Rob has

That's not really what he's doing though is it? I mean, if you were to outright stake him for the event, you wouldn't expect 100% of the winnings would you?

I'd spend it on hookers Tony, expensive hookers. :) . I think Rob would be a much better investment.

Doing ok so far tbh. Getting cards....

reggie, why do u have a problem with everything i ever post.
i know that we completely and utterly have opposite views on almost every aspect of poker strategy, but i really dont think your comment here in very fair, with my record over the last couple of years, my equity in this event is a lot more than 6k in my opinion and its going to cost me even more than this to get to prague, stay there etc while i play this tourney.
im trying to give some boardsies an added interest in the event, and good value for money, i want to play it as a smaller buy in myself, as the overall prize pool is still huge, and 50% of 700k is more than enough for me.

to everyone else, thanks for the huge amount of support, and i will get back to you all by pm tomorrow, right now im in the middle of the 200 game here in cork and thats just about to start back.

Hey I'm just saying that if I was in your position, I wouldn't be expecting people to either pay a premium, basically cutting into anyones potential profits off you or pay for my accomodation. They might be expenses but its a choice thing. Anyway its just my opinion. Good luck in the 200 event anyway.

i think this is basically a supply and demand thing..a single % of rob is worth whatever ppl will pay for it. nobody is forcing anybody to do anything here. rob is simply sayin it is an option if you so choose...

I agree with you mormank. I admit that I'm no gospel according to Poker, however this really doesn't seem to be that complicated. I guess a direct comparison would be odds given by a bookie, runners are priced according to ability and probability of a favourable outcome.

I guess cardshark202 has decided not to buy in, which is fair enough, but seeing everyone here tries to be friendly I guess there's no need to get personal and make an uneccessary point . . . twice!

Unfortunately I don't have any spare €300 lying around to make an investment, but I will be expecting a huge present if you win anything Rob all the same :P

    I'll take 5% Rob.

Better change your name and team. I see Norwich are bottom of the league. I hear Manchester United are very good. :)

yeah I don't see any problem with Rob selling it for whatever people want to pay for it. Even if he was a donkey and his equity was only 3k or so I'd still have no problem with him selling it for 6k.

Rob is always excellant value and tries his heart out in every hand and tourney.

I personally dont like to buy percentages and would rather back a player with the bookies, but best of luck with this Rob and I'm sure you'll be value to a lot of people.

So, im charging €300 for 5% or €600 for 10% of my action in prague

Maybe "offering" would have been a better choice of word than charging :p
