    I know there are others experiencing this, it's not just my phone's dodgy 3G :p

    Does that mean that you can't connect to web without wifi?
    Because that's what's wrong with my Hero, only happening today, not an ongoing thing.

    Yep, no mobile internet and no 3G/EDGE icon in the status bar.

    ah for god's sake. i was setting up my new hd2, i got so angry ive basically changed roms 4 times and radios as much, and lost all my settings. awwwwwwww. hate them. seriously.

    now hoping for it to get back soon

    Customer service don't have a time for a fix. Hopefully this evening they say.

    Hi guys,
    having all SIMs available from operators - 5 - so far O2 followed by Vodafone are the most reliable. 3 - that's an story for itself :).
    Meteor is building brand new 3G network (not an upgrade as O2&VF) in cooperation with ERICSSON. The problem is that their Mobile broadband dongle is using the same APN as billpay customers on their smartphones,so the network is overloaded... Thei should separate dongles from phones (like O2 have APN : internet for smartphones and open.internet for dongles).
    As for Tesco , they offering only WAP over GPRS :(

    ok. hd2 seems to have gotten a lockdown (data connection wouldnt turn on before), but still nothing coming through. its a bit worrying for me as im just setting the device up, and im unsure if its working or not!

    ditto, the amount of random stuff i use it to check during the day only dawned on me yday. mine's been back up since i got up this morning, although the 3G symbol came back on the phone last night it wasnt connecting, all seems good now tho

    Meteor sent me a txt with new settings for data access which basically deleted my meteor data connection and installed a wap one :confused:

    Dunno if it's due to the changes they're making in the network or because i was accessing their network on a new phone...but it's a bit weird.
