Looking For Musicians/Singers/Acts For New Summer Time Market In Dublin!!

    The Point Village Market will be opening on Saturday May 29th and we are looking for talented singer/songwriters, musicians and acts to take part playing at a series of lunch time concerts over the summer months.

    We’re after family friendly, interesting and fun acts to play between 12 and 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Cover songs are essential and you are welcome to throw in a few originals too, keeping in mind that the market is a family orientated one. We will also be looking to book acts to play at a series of lunch time concerts between 12pm- 2pm on Thursdays and Fridays from June 3rd.

    Thanks to all who've replied to the advert so far, we'll be in touch very shortly.

    To give you guys more of an idea of what we are after, we're looking at using these themes as guidelines per weekend each month, so over the course of a month we'll be looking for the following types of musicians/acts/etc

    1) Jazz, Blues, Soul
    2) Singer/Songwriter/Acoustic
    3) Indie/Rock/Pop
    4) Traditional- Irish, African, Polish etc

    if you're friends who play trad music, or a duo who love to sing and play acoustic we'd love to hear from you...don't forget we'd love to have you play at our lunch times gigs on Thursdays and Fridays too, so keep that in mind if weekends don't work for you.
