    The returning officer (typically also the county registrar / sheriff).

    Your best bet would be to get a politician to give you an invite to attend the count and give the returning officer your complaint in writing. Alternatively, wake up your solicitor early in the morning.

    I TO WENT TO CHURCHFIELD SCHOOL TO VOTE AND I SEEN 14 AND 16 YEAR OLD PEOPLE VOTING THE PEOPLE SCRATCHING THE NAMES WERE NOT EVEN ASKING FOR IDENTIFICATION THERE WAS NOT A A SIGN OF THE GARDAI IN SIGHT I ACTUALLY SEEN A DRUNK MAN WHOSE DAUGHTER WAS WITH WITH HIM SHE WAS NO MORE THAN 15 IT WAS THE ONLY TIME THEY ASKED FOR id WHICH SHE DID NOT HAVE HE GAVE HER ANOTHER VOTING CARD AND SHE WENT IN TO THE SAME ROOM NO QUESTIONS ASKED THIS TIME AND LEFT VOTE

    WHAT IS THIS COUNTRY COMING TO THOSE BOXES SHOULD BE BANNED THEY OPENS WITH A LID YOU CAN NOT CLOSE THEM NO GARDAI THERE SO THE PEOPLE SCRATCHING OFF THE NAMES HAD TO BRING THE BOXES TO THE CITY HALL THEIR SELVES BLAITAINT FRAUD IT IS WORSE THAN AFGHANISTAN WHAT IS THIS COUNTRY COMING TO :confused:

    Same in my polling station.

    There is something solid and secure about a metal box in compare to a plastic box.

    There do not have to be a Gardai present. It is up to the presiding officer to call for one if there is any issues or if there is any security concerns to be check out.

    I never seen a Gardai on any Polling station that I been voting in over the years.

    Doesn't necessarily mean anything. When there are tens of thousands of ballots being counted there are bound to be a few miscounts.

    I didn't mention that the presiding officer lied in front of a Garda too. He claimed he immediately went "with me" to the room and checked and sealed the box. I called him a liar and asked the Garda to witness that fact...... He did not retract but said later he went down after I left......

    IT DID HAPPEN BELIEVE ME ALSO I HEARD FROM A CANADITE THAT THE LAST LOCAL ELECTIONS THE SAME THING HAPPENED THE STAFF TOOK THE BOXES THE CANADITE FOLLOWED THEM WITH A VIDEO CAMERA AND SAID THOSE BOXES NEVER REACHED THE COUNT CENTER HE SAID WHEN HE ASKED THE SUPERINTENDENT HE WAS TOLD NO THEY DID THAT VIDEO HE TOLD ME IS ON YOU TUBE I WILL GIVE THAT CANADITES NAME IF YOU WANT TO ASK ME BUT ONE OF THOSE BOXED IN THAT COUNT CENTER I HEARD HAD %83 WHICH IS INPOSSABLE I WAS TOLD AS I ENQUIRED IN THE COUNT CENTER LAST NIGHT QUIETLY.

    THEY HAVE TO BE A WAY WHERE THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN AGAIN EVEN THE WAY THE BOXES ARE BEING DISPATCHED TO AND FROM THE COUNT CENTER DID YOU SEE THE VOTEING CARD ANY ONE COULD COPY THOSE THEY COULD THINK OF GIVING THE VOTER A SORT OF SWIPE CARD OR SOME THING TO VOTE WITH THEN A SLIP OF PAPER THAT LOOKS RECYCLED

    How could that be a hiccup the number of names of the people on the registrar that is allowed to vote is less than the votes you cant vote unless your registered

    Do you mean 83% first preferences for one candidate?

    It is quite possible. I tallied after 2007 election and I was slightly shocked that one box had such a high percentage for a particular candidate, until I realised that is was the box from where that candidate lived.

    it wasnt where any canadite lived it was a small polling booth along side 3 others but what i did notice when i went to the count was there was not one of those officers there counting wheter it was out of fear or just depression but they should have another system. I heard also today that FF did have observers at some booths then look at the socialist canadite ammount of votes he got he was disgusted the observers were in his area ? was it on account of the FF observers

    Please start making sense. A few full stops and capital letters wouldn't go astray. And please don't do posts in ALL CAPS; it's quite unnecessary.
