Should we organise a walk by region as something to do in 2014 ?
I live close to the Botanic Gardens In Glasnevin and practically live in the place. I would love a meet up for a walk and maybe a coffee afterwards for a chat. So rather than talk about it I will propose a walk in the Botanic gardens on Sunday 2 Feb @11.00. Meet just inside the gate.
I have a good idea where to see most things in there,
    Anyone Interested ?

Great idea! Just make sure it doesn't conflict with the rugby as that may impact attendance.

Might be better off going along to your local Birdwatch Ireland, Irish Wildlife Trust and other similar group's events Finix.

We have a "Forthcoming Nature Events" thread that you could post about them in when you hear of them, and encourage other Boardsies to go along! Needless to say they're a good excuse to go out and about, learn more about our native wildlife, and meet people with similar interests!

Great idea Finix and it's generous of you to take the initiative. Some people maybe interested in going but may not wish to announce it online. The weather is supposed to be good for Sunday.

Sorry, I am going to bring my son to the zoo as I assumed nobody would be there. I will try and arrange one for March. Thank you for showing an intrest.
