Just checked my account and no wages!

My partner, in a different Dept, checked hers too and no wages there either.

    Anyone else?

It's important to ask: were you supposed to get your wages today?

    Yup, 100% due this morning.

Can you trust your partner? Maybe they cleared out both accounts to feed a habit?

I got my wages today. But I'm not a civil servant. I can be quite uncivil at times. And I'd be a terrible servant...

Yep myself and my colleagues didn't get paid either!

Most likely it's a computer issue and it'll appear in a few hours.

My partner works for eircom and his pay didn't arrive in his bank account either. I know it's not the civil service but it's probably connected. He's B of I. What bank are you, OP?

Did you make an off colour remark to your boss at the water cooler?

With the introduction of SEPA it can be any time today when your wages get into your account. The first two paydays for me after SEPA was introduced my wages didn't hit my account until near 4pm.

I'm BoI, missus is AIB but as far as I know the Civil Service uses BoI.

Im in charge of all civil servants and Ill be contacting all those who didn't get paid later on ,

I'd also like know why they are looking at boards and checking bank accounts during the day and also Ill be identifying the individual who keeps looking at big boob enthusiasts online all day while apparently working.

It's probably SEPA. I transferred some money last week and it disappeared for two days. SEPA is using the slow electrons.

SEPA is always messed up on bank holiday weekend paydays.

Thought the system was meant to make things easier.

Can't just be Bank of Ireland. I'm with Ulster bank - due to get paid last night. Didn't get paid yet. It's normally always in on the dot at the same time on a Wednesday night.

How come I'm with Ulster Bank and didn't get paid either? Seems to bigger than Bank of Ireland's problem.

It doesn't always need to be an issue with your bank, that prevents money being transferred into your account.

  • Registered Users Posts: 413 ✭✭JoeCole26

Is this an issue on the banks side? im AIB, and due to this "error" my standing order for rent wasnt paid and i was charged €10. Im presuming if its the banks fault they will refund this? No problems with charging fees on customers accounts it seems. Jerks.
