Here's some food for thought for anybody who's into writing sci-fi:

A page on Xenolinguistics i.e. the dos and don'ts of inventing an alien langauge(some parts do require some knowledge of linguistics):

    http://www.xibalba.demon.co.uk/jbr/lingo.html#head

And, a really detailed article on what to do if you make first contact with an extra-terrestrial!

    http://www.adrr.com/lingua/alien.htm

I really admire ppl who go to such lengths for exactitude!

oh very good, i do intend writing something eventually :)

I usually find i enjoy sci-fi that has some basis in reality, it can be a rather loose basis but make for a more interesting read.
