Recommend me a Capture card

I'm looking to buy a capture card to record VHS & Camcorder onto my PC. I then want to burn this onto DVD. Is a capture card the bast way to go and if so can someone recommend a good one. Should I go for an Mpeg card instead :confused: Thanks in advance.
