Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

can you log in online and check em from there?

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 3,290 ✭✭✭TomTom

    Go to www.intranet.itcarlow.ie
log in with your username and password (same as the one you used in college)

Scroll down the first page and you will see a red box about examination results.

    Hope that helps.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,006 ✭✭✭theciscokid

that is actually pretty cool, especially if your travelling from a diff. county to pick up results, :)

I'm getting a lift up to carlow, would be a lot handier to get them online.
    EXAMINATION RESULTS - SUMMER 2003

EXAM RESULTS will be published on

    WEDNESDAY 11TH JUNE 2003 @ 2pm

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,560 ✭✭✭Ivan

Francis + JP went up to carlow today to find out results.

Apparently the 3 of us passed.

However we dont know if we need 40% or 55% so tbh we still dont know where we stand.

    Well good luck everyone else.

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 3,290 ✭✭✭TomTom

congratulations lads, tell the others I said the same if you meet them.

Shamo it just tells you on the intranet if you passed or failed, not what you got in each subject.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,560 ✭✭✭Ivan

I'd hold the applause for a while TomTom, we still dont know if we got into 3rd year or not and really, thats what its all about.

Does anyone know a phone number for the college?

I wanna ring up and try to find out if its 40% or 55%

did you try what i said above stephen?

Ivan you can get the number from the carlow it web site. Down on the bottom left. it starts with something like 0503 and ends in 70400. its very hard read.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,987 ✭✭✭✭zAbbo

    40% gets u into 3rd year, 50% gets you into 4th year

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,484 ✭✭✭✭Stephen

Tom i'm in the college, so I just get the usual student intranet page. There is a red box about exam results but there's no info about getting my own results anywhere?

    30% to get into Diploma
and 50% to get into degree

But I can find no info on the net to back it up

Me and ciaran both got an average of 53.5%.
That is a major pain in the hole. 2% off the merit.
    Did you pass tom?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,459 ✭✭✭seanos

on bright side you passed - any rechecks etc ? [or problem where you could go down]

...bastards not up the grade a tad to give ya the merit ?

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 3,290 ✭✭✭TomTom

What about what greg said that there was never EVER any limitations on places?

    Why would that change?

    /me looks desperate.

It still hasnt sunk in yet, but that probably has something to do with the fact that I dont know whether or not if I'm going to 3rd year.

I've pretty much accepted that I have but who knows...

    Here's to hope.

Have fun in Boston Jp and tell your folks your results.

I`d imagine the pass mark was dropped to allow more students to do Diploamas/Degrees. If you pass you will get a place(as places are NOT limited)

    u dig

    ah feic ;(
hard look tom - least you have chance to repeat in Aug.

  • Registered Users Posts: 328 ✭✭Vulture

Look on the bright side Tom... Everyone you know could secretly hate you and make horrible observations about all your character flaws, write them down and choose the moment when you are at your lowest and feeling fairly crappy. Then got to your house and read them all to you while protected by a large gay necrophlic body builder.
    ps Tom you home?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,484 ✭✭✭✭Stephen

I'm working on passing maths this august... Got a couple of grinds and things are looking up!

    I failed, i failed again, i suck, i'm sad I failed, i failed again, i suck, i'm sad I failed, i failed again, i suck, i'm sad I failed, i failed again, i suck, i'm sad I failed, i failed again, i suck, i'm sad!

You all mustn't be attaching the required amount of € to each exam paper.
    €1 = 0.5% ? ;)

note : buying drink for lecturer before they look at paper can also work - however depending on lecturer, method 1 [see above] can be cheaper in some cases...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 355 ✭✭Headcase

so people, who's going to be there in August with me.
i have all mine to repeat.
    i f**ked up big time.
looks like its 3rd year all over again.
chances of me passing 6exams in august are pretty slim.

if i do, it will be the come back of the century. Not bloody likely.

so who's coming to Scraggs in August?
