    If you're looking for indie/rock/hip-hop/8Ts/punk/funk and anything else we have lying around at the time try heading down to Magpie at Handels, 28 Thomas Street (NOT Capel St!), this saturday 14 June

    Music from 8.00 'til 1.00. It's Phantom-listener friendly, and most importantly it's free, so give it a whirl

    I went down to this the other week as I live just off Thomas St, and I have to say it was pretty good. Handel's is a nice bar, the music is excellent and there's a pretty friendly vibe... only drawback is you get thrown out at 1.00, but you can always go home for a few cans if you're that desperate.

    All in all I'd recommend it.
