Wireless in waterford

    guys have tried looking for info on wireless connections in waterford but cant seem to find any, does anyone know if its even available here

    but its Eircom Fixed Wireless Access. Good luck getting that.

    No other carrier does wireless in Waterford

    Esat offer FWA in Waterford (was considering it but went for a landline connection instead) but it is generally as a replacement for a leased line connection. I am not sure if it offers FWA as a consumer product though. As for Eircom, its main concentration seems to be on RADSL/DSL around here.

    just registered on the forums and joined the mailing list, have you got any access points etc etc on the dunmore road in the viewmount area yet or have you ben testing at all out this way

    Things are at a fairly early stage, and whats mostly needed now is members to help out and contribute. The first ap is on the TSSG building out the cork road - dont know if you could see it or not. We're looking into setting up a node out Dunmore East way, at Harristown - can you see the hill with the masts on it? :)
