Eircom have been diggin up the roads around my area for the last few days. Today my two lines went completely dead and are still dead, but here I am on the internet with one of the lines (Dsl). I rang Eircom earlier to report the faulty lines, they said they were replacing some major lines in my area. My Dsl disconnected…

Eircom have been diggin up the roads around my area for the last few days. Today my two lines went completely dead and are still dead, but here I am on the internet with one of the lines (Dsl). I rang Eircom earlier to report the faulty lines, they said they were replacing some major lines in my area. My Dsl disconnected itself earlier tonight, but somehow has reactivated itself, in the router config it shows my line is 2000 feet longer than before and there is 12dB more noise on the line....

If I pick up the phone on either line, there is nothing, nadda ???
