Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just noticed this on security focus, after all the talk of honeynets becoming ilegal in the 2600 mag and over various security websites its becoming very interesting to see if we are going to have to move our honeynet's off shore.

This is the first bit of feedback I have seen from Lance Spitzner of honeynet.org on the issue in hand.

Any interesting read, material taken from secuirtyfocus.com

would that also mean that owning a house which contains valuables is an offence? as it lures burglars? would that be entrapment.

I think the lawyers are just playing sillybuggers here.

I think the analogy is that you have a bunch of houses, but one of them has fake valuables and no locks or alarms.

Or perhaps a better analogy would be that the fake house is locked up, but the locks are plugged into a monitoring system .... :)
