it's only happened today..or literally in the last few hours.

a few times playing GTA3...twice trying to play BF online..and then a few mins ago trying to post this.

    P4 1.9
    XP home
    512 SDRam
    GF4 ti4200

I did change the page file...it was already on custom size...
    min 368 Max 768

i changed it again to min 768 max 900 [these were the figures it rebooted at the last two times]

    Current commit charge 108M/1251M

    Any ideas?

    ffs :(

    went to play BF online...boom...reboot.

the disk check said something about my BF1942.pid first unit allocation invalid or some sort.

did the same for one of the BF game logs.

    and for ASE.exe

Tried BF offline...reboot just as the level loaded.

dont think it's my cpu nor just BF cos it happened with GTA3.

altho it looks like it's only happening to me on my profile [out of 3 user profiles on XP]

Heh, MSDN isn't being kind to you.

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/w2kmsgs/577.asp

In cases likes this "or some sort" really isn't good enough, it'll make things a lot easier if you write down the exact error message. Then Google for it when you come back up. I reckon you'll probably be following MSDN's advice though. :(
