When I was a kid I used to Love Saturday nights.
I'd watch BBC which showed a Hammer house of Horrors double bill.
Two Horror movies in a row and the first one used to start at 10.30'ish.
I'd sit alone in sitting room in the dark loving every moment and the odd movie used to make me turn the light on just in case...!
Wouldnt get to bed till 1 am'ish or even later..I cant remember...now I get to bed at 3am thanks to PC's.:0.
Anyone else watch those Hammer house of horror movies?.

Absolute class. I used to watch them when I was a kid. Do you remember the one where the house was encased in Iorn and the family couldn't get out. The house started to heat up... at the end you see a little girl putting the house in an oven... scarred the shít out of me..

I'm pretty sure if you watched them now though they would be crap.

I love "The Devil Rides Out". Its incredibly cheesy now, but I remember being very freaked out by it when I was young (up late watching it on BBC2!)

Yeah Peter Cushing and Vincent Price were gods to me in those days. I loved all the Dracula films! They really scared the sh1t out of me. They look a bit corney now, but great when i was young. The later stuff they made was a bit strange though.
