My 56k is poo

I've been (not) using my sister's 56k during the week, connected to Oceanfree. It dials up connects, verifies username and password and typically loads most of the first pages (Oceanfree or boards or whatever) and then stalls and disconnects. Any ideas?

I'd experiment with compression and all that sh1te on the properties.

try checking the modem speed/port speed settings?

search google for info on how to do this....i would tell you here but im in a hurry (sorry)....
