    Preliminary Charter -

Just a few basic rule until myself and my to-be-appointed co-mod get things together :) .

    1. NO PORN - I cannot stress this enough, this board is for entertainment, a bit of a laugh. It is not for chopping and pasting peoples heads onto porn, goatse etc.
This means No Nude pics either (I thought this was implied, apparently not).

    2. Keep it on topic please - This is a forum for what is widely known as "PhotoShopping", IE altering normal pictures to make them funny or amusing. There's another forum for what is better described as "Art".

    3. Image size - A large proportion of boards users are 56k (including myself, for now). This could cause problems with viewing threads. I would ask you to keep the pictures that you post "in-post" are circa 100kb in size. Anything over this should be posted as a link.

    4. Do not post anything disgusting, you should know if what you post is. There are levels of decency.
Anything indecent will be removed and repeat offences will result in a ban.

When I think of more I'll add them, those above are the essentials for now, especially number 1.

    Thnx ;) .

    I'll be your co-mod.

I would take great pleasure in banning stupid people.

    Well said.

Certain dictators used to execute people who spoke of change,

but I'm sure you knew that already.

Keep this to proper suggestions people. Thanks. No more replies unless they are constructive towards the charter please.

    That was a constructive suggestion.

Anyway, I think 150kb might be a bit big for the max filesize. A few 150kb images in one thread and some of us will be here for fair while.

    Optimise, damnit!

Quite possibly. Thats the arbitrary figure for now though. I'll see how it pans out, thnx :) .

Knocked down to 100kb, this should be plenty for anyone and if its not then please post as a link, thanks.

I think most pics can even be kept below 50kb, compression and resizing should keep it so that the forum is enjoyable for all :) .

Don't include 'inline' pics if your quoting somebody?

I would suggest limiting the forum somehow to only one or two active threads.

The more active threads, the more watered down the guffaws tend to be:)

Hmm, I'm not sure how that would be done, there is quite a lot of stuff but there hasn't been anywhere to post these things before, a deluge is to be expected :) . I'd say the pace will slow down itself in time.

    Inline pics?

I thought it didn't matter how many times a pic is in one post, once it's download once, it's in the cache anyway?

Could be wrong but meh... bitheth me :]

True PiE, I think he means that it would be a space hogger, quoting pics all the time could make pages unnecessarily long.
