Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

wouldn't mind him at liverpool either - they're only talking at this stage though.

hmm, I am a gooner but I cant say my heart jumped for joy at that one. He is supposed to be a really solitary guy, I dont know if he will fit in the whole ethos at AFC. (good player though)

I duno what to think of Kewell. He blows hot and cold but he is a fantastic player when he's on form. Duno where he would fit in at Arsenal though. Henry almost always sets up his attacks from there so Kewell would have SFA to do

Strengthens the squad which is good i guess. Not sure if he'll fit in well though.

Would prefer to see them sign a keeper and a defender or two

Well if Kewell isn't coming to United... Will it be Duff?

Interesting signing if it happens however I'm with kaids I'd prefer them to be sorting out the defense and goalkeeper situation.

    Gandalf.

i think hed be best off movin to La Liga or serie A. the football is better there and he would be on at least £90,000 sterling PW. the 50,000 pw offered by arsenal is not testimory to his qualities as a player.

between united and arsenal snapping up the good players, liverpool are going to be relying on the rejects.

no champo league footy, were relying on our fantastic reputation as the most successfull brittish team ever. when is houllier gonna make some moves?

I think the only move houllier should make is himself. Out of the club. but you are right VinnyL - the good players look at Utd and AFC first.

If Kewel does go to Arsenal does this add some strength to the rumour that Pires will leave?

Personally i think Kewell is overated,he's a good player but he's not as exciting or as consistent as Duff.

consistent as Duff?? only since the end of last season has he been making moves in the game.

kewell has been good at Leeds who were on the brink of financial ruin and sold loads a players, imagine the player he could be at arsenal, with the service for Viera, Pires, Ljundburg, Henry and the like ?

As a leeds fan, i am obviously deeply dissapointed to see harry's back. Where has loyalty gone in football? Arsenal should be a good move for him though. He is a breathtaking player, and i am sure he will get on well at highbury. But having had the pleasure of watching him for many years, i should tell you that he can be very lazy. He does not chase back after losing the ball. And i question... what happens to Pires going once kewell arrives? Wenger does not have much money to spend, and whatever he does have, surely he will spend on a defender or goalkeeper. So I have a strong feeling Wenger is going to sell pires, otherwise how could he afford the other two. and neither kewell nor pires will be up for the bench something will have to give. I am also an irish fan, and constantly watch damien duff. I must be honest, and say that at club level, kewell would be a much better signing imo. Duff although breathtaking at international level, is inconsistent at club level, and always picks up niggling injuries. He is also a dismal finisher. Kewell will play nearly all games in the season, is more consistent and is a fine finisher.

Seriously doubt that happening. Its Real Or Utd in my opinion. I dont think Utd will even get him which is why im really pissed off. I think Real will snap him up.

Real have just gotten Beckham, don't think they're going to be bothered with the likes of Kewell.

Some good points coke in the Duff/Kewell comparison.
