Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Return to training after injury...

    Advice required.

I have was out of action for the last two weeks before last week after sustaining an injury and returned to training last week.

My question is one relating to weight lifting.

Although I haven't (certainly doesn't look like it anyway) lost muscle mass - i seem to have lost some strength and can't seem to be able to lift what i was lifting. Im burning out a lot quicker, yet i feel bigger and have put on weight - and I don' think its fat!!!!

What should I do ? Is it good enough to continue at lower weights once I am still working to exhaustion? Will I benefit from this? Physique wise the long rest seems to have done some good for me after working out now for 2 years non stop. But Im concerned at the fact that I cant lift what I used to.

    Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
    Tom
