Did anyone see the Sunday Game on Sunday night (naturally!).

Kevin O'neill seams very capable in getting his point accross, but the rest............

It was like an amateur drama society. Spillane and his cronies have the gall to insult gaelic players about their football skills when their broadcasting skills are laughable.

Bernard Flynn? just what was he on about. He looks well. Well groomed, probably had some media training, the only problem being that he cant talk. Poor creature.
He kept refering to Laois we should give it to laois and that he would hand it to Laois and that they were never given IT before be now we would give it to them. What? Oh yes and micko has given it to them, Whatever it is

As for Spillane , hilarious. I was wondering did the autocue read like this

"After the break, (Dribble)(pause), we have munster championship football (Make open mounth gesture like goldfish) semi final from Killarney where Paidi O' Sheas kerry took (pause again) on Tipperary"

Will Spillane & Flynn be dropped for their next round?

I always thought Michael Lyster was very good, but the old axiom of if its not broken dont fix it doesn't apply in RTE. In fairness though it was Spillanes first time presenting the show and maybe he will loosen up as he goes on.
