Hey im not sure what the general thinkin about MSI but i have had a bad experience with them. What about these boards...

    113191 Abit AT7-MAX2 Mainboard Socket A, S-ATA
    - VIAKT400, ATA/133, ATX, USB2.0, 8X, Raid In stock: 20-49 135.38 119.14 - €119 and it comes with a front pannel 5 1/2" Fitting which allows Firewire , USB ect to be conencted. Also a very nice remote control :)

    or

    114239 Asus A7N8X Deluxe/GD mainboard Socket A
    - nForce2SPP/MCP-T/Ultra 400,1394,Dual LAN In stock:
100+ 145.60 128.13 - €128 , i have the asus A7N8X brilliant board, the deluxe covers you for 200 fsb, has excelent overclocking and great reviews.

Spend an extra €25 or so and get the Xp2500+ , new barton core and pretty good for overclocking. Great Cpu in my opinion!!

Feel free to disagree with me guys - Have the ASUS A7N8X mainboard & Xp2500+ myself, overlcocked very nicely (xp3200+ level) and never had any probs at all.

Just for the record. My last two boards were MSI and Abit. Both VIA KT400 Chipset based. The Abit was faulty and I had to send back two of them (to Komplett) the MSI worked great and still works great.

It doesn't matter really about the make of a board just the spec.
There have been occasions where a bad batch of boards are made and needless to say, it does the manafacturer no favours in the reputation stakes!

U either get a good one or bad, thus is the nature of mass production
