good hsf

tomorro i intend on purchasing a good hsf online . i need some advice on what to get ill be using a amd xp 2500 and i do intend on overclocking it as much as i can . i am willing to spend 100 euros on this lil item but i dont want to buy crap

dont like coolermasters so there all out i want to stay away from those flower yokes unless its just down to that .

am thinking of dishing out the extra 70 and getting the water cooling kit from elara unless i find somthing better . any info would be appreciated .

and website urls of places to buy the item from would be loved

i would like it to be silent but thats not important

FWIW,

I have a HSF combo thats somewhat comparable to those mentionned its a thermaltake volcano 7+. I'm happy enough with it , it keeps the system ~40C and is not too noisy at the Low setting. The noise at Medium didn't bother me a first but after a while it did....

for reference
(Low = 24dB at 3000rpm is almost silent,
Med = 35db at 4800 rpm is somewhat annoying,
High = 47db at 6000 rpm is mindnumbing)


but If I was doing it again I would go with water cooling

There's a review for the last HSF you posted Here (on moddin.net). When I saw the fan with only the small center I remembered it. It's a good heatsink. The small center on the fan gives it avery small deadzone and a better cooling capacity than most. Can't remember if they said anything on the noise levels of it though.
