Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He's damn good. He's the best left sided midfielder in the premiership. Just about everyone would want him in there team.
so I can understand why you would love to have him, but ...

but why would HE want to join liverpool?

If the guy was motivated by money, he could have enginnered a move by now easily. So its not about money.

Duff can play in the uefa cup with Blackburn. So you cant offer him a higher level of football.

    And as for next season!
I cant see ManU and the Gunners not finishing 1st and second, in whichever order.
Newcastle will be be as good if not better. Chelsea pipped Liverpool this year, and will have the same nucleas next year.
Hell, if blackburn hang onto Duff, they should be up there too.

Also, I reckon GH could be sacked if liverpool have a poor start to next season. And if a new manager cam in, he'd probably need time to rebuild etc, so there no guarentee of Champions League football next year either or year after either.

    Then there the money

Liverpool would struggle to meet the asking fee, ( certaily 15 mil plus). Thus they wouldnt be able to strengthen the squad in other areas ... (another striker etc). as the money wouldnt be there.

So while I see every club would like to have him, why do pool supporters keep saying get Duff? From his point of view, he's better of staying put.

I'd say Everton have as good a chance of signing him!

    X

Fully agree. I reckon it would be a step down. Liverpool seem like a shambles of a club these days, from top to bottom, papering over the cracks by winning the odd mickey mouse trophy. Did anyone see the Liverpool Academy bloke on last night talking about Rooney, and how strong and athletic he was from an early age. It begged the question; WHY THE FÚCK DID YOU LET HIM GO THEN???!!
