T610 and O2

    All,

    As per expansys.co.uk, O2 is already selling T610 in the UK for <80 sterling.

    I was wondering if any one know, if they have any plans to introduce T610 here in Ireland as well?

    Meanwhile, I was told that O2 is about to offer an upgrade offer for SpeakEasy (pay-as-you-go) customers to move to PayMonthly(monthly-bill) by the end of this month.

    So, any idea about T610? Any O2 insiders here?

    Got this email from them on Monday.
    In relation to your query, the Sony Ericsson T610 handset is currently in
    testing by our Technical Department. The launch date for this handset will
    depend on the phone successfully passing all our tests for suitability to
    our 086 network. We do not have a time-frame on how long this will take to
    complete.

    I recommend that you contact us again in a few weeks time and we may be in a
    position to advise you further.

    So, who knows?

    Well, still they would bring it out here for three or four hundred euros may be! We bloody need more compitition in here!!

    your w00+ might have a few less 000s comparing the Vodafone customised T610 to the regular T610 you are used to, they went a little OTT...
