Finished it just now, and can definitely say three things about it:

It's the best FPS I've ever played by a long way. This is single player of course, the multiplayer aint much cop at the mo, due to some millenial lag abounding.

It has the toughest final boss I've ever met or hope to meet. Thanks for no hints at all Dr. Teeth ta Teeth tho for helping me get past the first boss.

It has the most ambiguous ending I have ever seen. Dont know what I was expecting, but it wasnt what I got. Interesting tho.

Ah would ye! Nihilanth was **** easy! And I was playing on Difficult. It would have been better if those teleporter blasts weren't deflected by the spikes so you kept getting hit by them..

Half life is one hard game towards the end.The final boss is **** hard and then some but the game is so good you just cant stop playing it(3 days non stop).
I tried the multiplayer last night and it was pretty good(no lag Troy,so get a decent modem ya cheep bast:))but saying that an Irish sever would be great hint hint .
The only thing that Im ****ed off about is that Ive whopped Half Life,trashed Sin,kicked Klingon in the nuts and made shogo cry.So come on Zelda64 and take your spanking.

Well give Trespasser a go then, and Grim Fandango - they're both on my shortlist atm..

I'm going to play HL through again this weekend, I just can't resist going back to the stage where you're creeping around a warehouse shooting assassins in the head with the crossbow before the *****es even know you're there...

Got about half way into Grim Fandango then it just did my head in. As far as I'm concerned the dumb broad in it can stay lost

Getting Tomb Raider III this evening, and maybe Heritic II + Halflife (one or both, depends on the mood). There's some really cool games out now

Finished it on medium only, but no way am I replaying it on hard, bad enough as it was

I'm on year 2 of Grim Fandango, gotta admit that is pretty tough, all this lateral thinking is doing me head in

Um, I haven't completed Half-Life yet. I'm playing it on Difficult and I'm on the Xen homeworld. I sorta Half-Don't want it to end ... but it's getting scary. Hope it ends soon. Hope so... gotta go play more... I feel silly without my H.E.V. Oh, and my magnum...need...more...magnum rounds...

Naw mate, more quarrels for the crossbow! The last few levels were brilliant for it, sneaking around those huge multi-leveled rooms hitting those lightning chappies in the head.. Have to say, I thought it dipped seriously, quality wise, when I got to Xen. Woulda much preferred the last few levs to be on Earth too.

The last bit felt very 'stuck-on' to me. Back to the usual jump and dodge stuff that it had brilliantly avoided doing up to then. And the last boss is really a bit daft.

I heard the programmers had spent too much time on the first half, and kind of rushed the Alien section to get it shipped before christmas.

Stuck on the conveyer belt section, only have 15H, no ammo and there's 2 trip mines blocking my way. (playing hard)
