    just wanna know wheres the cheapest
    place to get the maxi gamer voodo 2
    in Ireland and how much?
    will it run well on a 166?
    does the full version of f1 raceing simulation come with it.
    off topic a bit but this is the only
    irish gaming board i know

    A p166 is minimum-spec for all of the new games coming out, so you're games are going to be cpu-bound more than anything else. If you get a voodoo2 it will improve things, but not by much, in fact the card will spend most of it's time waiting on the cpu to provide it with the data is needs. So, get a voodoo2, a new motherboard, cpu, and possibly more memory (if you have less than 32).

    If you're dublin-based, Peats are doing pretty good deals on cpu/board/memory bundles at the moment. Mind you, if your current machine is a name-brand one (Gateway/Dell etc), upgrading can be difficult.
