Hey, I recently reinstalled my sound drivers because the new ones kept crashing my comp and generally causing lag in games. Hey,

I recently reinstalled my sound drivers because the new ones kept crashing my comp and generally causing lag in games.

I have a creative sb live 5.1 and i'm using the drivers that came with the cd. I had the newer ones installed before i installed the old ones. I've all the eax effects etc turned off and its not my mic echoing it back so i'm all out of ideas

What else could be causing it?
