I went up and booked the place solid for next saturday. The exact times im trying to work out. Lets just say its for most of the day, starting at 12pm till 8/10pm and then off to the pub for beers and fun <IMG SRC="http://lacerta.ucg.ie/boards/smile.gif&quot; WIDTH=15 HEIGHT=15 BORDER=0 ALT=":)">

Now, I have everyones names who said theyd come, so be at the belgard by 12pm. You will be asked to hand over your money and givin a little badge. Anyone who wants to come along just to watch can bugger off. There is little or no room there. Any1 without badges will be kicked out. Ok, everyone will get a few hours on the pc's. there is only 10pcs available to us lads. But ive worked out several comps just for a laf and i will ensure u get games.

Ill post more details during the week as i know them.

Can we have some kind of consensus on what games other than Quake are gonna be played? Me personally, I'd love to see some stuff like Half-Life, Shogo... maybe some non FPS games, say FreeSpace, or Dark Reign/Red Alert/Total Annihilation?

I assume that if we're limited for machines, games that don't require a dedicated server are best by far... Suggestions from others? Words from Eric on possibilities of other games?

we should prolly organise what matches/competitions /etc. right here, to avoid wasting time at belgard getting teams ready etc.

Games which I think would be good fun -
- Quake one on one knockout
- Take on Reaper : the Total Annialation King
- The Koopa Dm4 Challange
- Half-Life One on One Knockout
- Forsaken Bash Around
- Some Clan Matches to be Decided.
- Clan Arena Knockout

Just in..

I talked to the lads in Belgard and their extending their time to us for a few more extra hours (exactly what that means Im not sure) but its 12-8pm + (some)

Oh another thing, there is 13 pc's there and I'm bringing my own and one from work. 15 PC's should make it at least 2 people per pc.

Any thoughts on where the posse is heading afterwards? I'm starting to think about where to kip for the night.... having never even been in the Belgard b4, and relying on vague directions from Bubbs to get there, any suggestions would be a help!

Maybe if any of ye are getting a B&B in the vicinity, you could drop me the number of the place? Cheers!
