Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The Department of Communications, Marine and Natural Resources has expressed serious reservations about the negative impact and high cost to businesses of the Justice Department's proposed data retention bill, according to documents seen by the Irish Times. In comments made in September 2002 on a confidential preliminary draft of the bill, the Department of Communications also said it believed that "the proposed retention period of three years might be considered excessive from the point of view of civil liberties and an individual's right to privacy."
