Downward pressure being "hidden" by developers

Wonder has anybody any comments about this-
I hear that a development in Santry Pk is now getting an allowance of 10000 euros to fit out the apartment, where a few months ago it didn't. Could developers be hiding a downward tendancy for the prices of new developments. Or is it probably just that the remaining apartments are "less desirable"?

Most developments do offer a fit out allow for things like nicer kitchens, bathrooms, tiles, carpets, wardrobes and fireplaces, however €10,000 does seem generous. It might be that the developer isn't seeing the frenzy that was there previously and wants to keep things going. However, it might be that this €10,000 is offset by the higher price you usually see in later units in a development.
