Best modem/router for UTV?

it looks like UTV won't be using the fujitsu modem in the south: utv.support: However, it's beginning to look like we'll be running with the same modem that Eircom, Esat and Netsource all use (this way, we can be sure it's compatible with the Eircom exchange equipment). So what has been the best modem/router in terms of compatibility with eircons exchange equipment?

I want to connect 2 PCs + laptop individually, but I've read some of you had probs with some modems. Any advice on what modem/router to get is much appreciated.
