Xbox Live And Netsource

    Howeya Y'all

    I am putting this in the broadband it is specifically to to do with XBOX Live and NETSOURCE.

    I recently got the XBOX Live Beta kit and have been able to set it up correctly. The problem occurs when I actually attempt to connect to any Live servers, it will only connect maybe 1 in 3 attempts. I am guessing this is to do with the NETSOURCE rdsl service I have and the very high pings that seem to be present at night time.

    Can anyone provide some feedback on this?

    The line is capable of 50 kb/sec downloads so that is not the problem i think.

    That ping reply is ure answer..

    For X box live you want those pings to be reading.. under the 100s ie.. 100ms less

    lol with netsources getting below 100ms ping is about as likely as the united state,s haveing a war with out killing half their allie,s

    Your not going to be able to play on Xbox Live with those pings to be honest even if you do stay connected....

    This is the type of pings I presume I'm getting on Live and it's perfectly playable (Netsource SME):
