Indigo Servers

Indigo will have servers up pretty soon: So far there are:

A QW CA Server
A CTF Server using the same mod as on Quakesrv2 - for all the oldies
A War Server - doubling as a duel server
A Deathmatch 5 FFA Server - Respawn and Weapon camping wont help muppets here

Theres also a Q2 Server - dunno what mod - prolly battleground - which should cheer up Butcher <IMG SRC="http://lacerta.ucg.ie/boards/tongue.gif&quot; WIDTH=15 HEIGHT=15 BORDER=0 ALT=":P">

Depending on the initial load of the servers there may be a couple more mods after a month or so.

There will be an rcon password given to responsible PPL, Dev, Vex, Blade etc - and any of the messing thats currently happening on the Iol servers and IRC wont be tolerated. The oldies rule this one <IMG SRC="http://lacerta.ucg.ie/boards/smile.gif&quot; WIDTH=15 HEIGHT=15 BORDER=0 ALT=":)">

They will be up pretty soon as Crevan (indigo server guy) isn't getting his whiskey until they are <IMG SRC="http://lacerta.ucg.ie/boards/smile.gif&quot; WIDTH=15 HEIGHT=15 BORDER=0 ALT=":)"> and when they are I'll arrange a CA and CTF League - if ppl want it.

sounds good to me. put up a battleground q2 server as it can be switched between ffa and team modes by client voting. in fact you can change about everthing with the wonderfull client voting stuff in it.

It will be nice to have some Irish quake severs to play on for a change.Hope there up more often than quake.ie and more playable than the iol severs. Iol games network my a*se suds.

Ah fucckin nice one. Most of the older Quakers will agree that Quakesrv2 was the greatest crack ever to play on, prolly the best few months of Quake was spent CTF-ing there. Class. Have to say that Daa still has me confused. Perfectly personable 50% of the time, possibly the greatest living ar$ehole in the known universe the rest of the time. Weird.

Ah well. Another couple of years, time to get out of that akward pubescent stage, and he'll probably be sound enough. I sometimes wonder if we're all a little hard on him tho... cos I've noticed of late that he's quiet enough until someone else gets him going...
