Have been noticing lately that job application forms now require your PPSN and a copy of your birth cert before you are even considered for the vacancy. What concerns me is that if you apply and dont get the job your data can be stored for ever. Anyone armed with a copy of your birth cert and PPSN could steal your identity…

What concerns me is that if you apply and dont get the job your data can be stored for ever. Anyone armed with a copy of your birth cert and PPSN could steal your identity and ruin your life.

Does this worry any of you?
