On-air radio here in the southwestern Ontario part of Canada - which is typical of North America - is pretty much a recycling of mainstream rock and pop. Discovered Phantom a couple of months ago. Absolutely refreshing.

Reminds me of a pirate Detroit station back in the 1970's, WABX. They operated for a while without a license - had the best music.
