So Who'll Actually be at/visiting CTYI??

Anyone I know?? I'll be on campus for all of CTYI working so who should I be lookin out for. Ain't seen Fio in ages. You'll be round both sessions won't ya?

Who else? I know a few will be at semester 2 that I know. Any other RAs/TAs known yet? Well I'm sure I'll see some of ye wandering around campus and or in the Sports Complex. Look out for someone carrying a scary looking carrying case and probably wearing a DCU Archery Club t-shirt! :-p

A word to the wise, if you HAVE to visit CTYI this year, be VERY careful, don't make yourself obvious. There have been three incidents of people being thrown out, with much trauma involved.

Tbh seeing as it is techincally an open campus, albeit one where CTYI do have the right to remove you from, you can just go "ok" when they ask you to leave. ten, if they try to speed you up on your exit, you ring the gardai. then promptly tell them in as much of an upper class (possibly southside) accent how "these ruffians dared to lay a hand on me! throw the book at them officer!".



It'll achieve nothing, but i'd be in stitches in the corner laughing my ass off and wandering around the campus with impunity as 20 gardai hop on the rich upper class snooty southside bastard.

I on the other hand am both a DCU Student and DCU Staff Member and cannot be kicked off of campus. :-)

Also the CTYI staff, long term people, know this at this stage considering I've seen them for the past two years on campus and vice versa. Aah... My life is soo easy!! *looks around* Oh wait... Maybe not. :-/

Not really, but anyway, thought I might as well post on this bloody Forum, btw all sources report that CTYI this year, blows or blew (depending on when your reading this). Just an open qustion, did it really suck, and should we stop people going next year and establish a rebel camp of genii?

I'm just rambling, but hey, any way.
