    As mentioned in the Netsource Slow thread, Netsource seem to have sorted out their Problems, and have had very good pings. But will it last? or is it just a one-time wonder, anyone know Wuts happening?

    I'd say it'll last for a while alright. Then they'll get more and more customers, it'll slow down again, they'll order more bandwidth, things will be fast again. The cycle of pings they'll call it.

    Fortunately as the numbers get bigger, both customers and bandwidth, the statistics of contention will start to work, and the service should become more stable. As long as bandwidth keeps getting added as customers join.

    Of course this only applies to the handover bottleneck point, not the potential DSLAM contention.

    Being rude to an admin is a pretty sure way of having that admin remove the privilege of being a member here.

    Some people take the view that something they dont pay for has no value... occasionally you have to remind them.

    I'm sure ecksor will stop torturing him in, oooh, about a month.

    That Netsource sponsored the Prison forum most handsomely and that Devore happily took their money, goaded Sloth into a Casus Belli and threw him in there......wherein he shall remain. Sloth caused a lot of bad karma for Netsource on this very Board a while back.

    As a SIDE EFFECT is also by far the most interesting and amusing BLOG in all of Ireland (sorry Karlin :D )

    Yo DeV, when is the the 'Campaign To FREE the Sloth' Board going up ?

    Dont think Netsource forgot all of These Posts From Sloth in a hurry, especially when it was Eircom fault all along and Sloth was an ADSL (not RADSL) customer all along too :D
