    It seems clear that the majority of quake players are indeed pubescent kiddies. As such, perhaps they should be left in charge of #quake but tbh I dont give a **** any more.

    I 'm leaving #quake and I 'm not coming back. About 4 people I 've met in that chan over the years are worth knowing. Four. That says a lot about your average quaker.

    I don 't expect to be missed.

    no, #quake is not the world, although I 'm sure many quakers will find this hard to believe....
    at least 75% of that channel are utter muppets.
    I 've been on IRC for years, longer than most, and I have never seen a channel with so many ****ing children in my life.

    Yeah, like wwm says, come back to q2, start up the JEDI again, some good unclanned players about atm due to DALI folding and more q1'ers trying q2 out.
