Every archive I download gives a crc error when I extract it ,I've tried winrar ,winace and power archiver ,all give crc errors ,this used to happen on 56 k but I'd download the bad files again and all would be ok ,when I try to extract now it gives a different bad file every time ,

    running xp pro
    amd xp 2000
    512 ddr
(new ) maxtor 60 g hdd ( same problem with old hdd)

    TIA

Are all these archives from the same site? (im assuming not) If it is the server could have a problem.
Could it be your modem or whatever you use? could you be getting a **** load of packet loss?
Link to a file you were trying to dload and ill dload it and see if i get the same problem here.

..if not i dont really know, sorry.
