spanning disks

    need some help hayer:

    I'm copying the q2-319-x86-full.exe binary for a friend...is there any way to get it to span across several disks without zipping it?(which ive tried..it doesnt work)

    zippibg it will work, just put the disk in and check it all for errors, so windows will skip over any bad sectors, and then right click on the file and do add to zip, when asked what you want to call it, type in a:\poo or whatever, then add disks when prompted, this will work im tellin you baby

    btw, ive just used up the last of me hard drive space. anyone want to donate a cheap hard drive wit a few measly gig on it?

    If u have PKZIP in a PATHed directory, cut out to the prompt, go to a directory with only the files u want spanned, put a floppy in the drive, and type:

    pkzip a:\hehe.zip *.* -&

    Then follow the instructions.
    Easy.

    Later versions of winzip will do it for you.
    You just select the a: dirve as the destination
