Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Are condoms safe to use in the bath? Do they fill up with water or roll off? Also if they can be used will bubblebath cause them to break? MMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm??

    MMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm??

    My sentiments exactly.

Not too sure about the condom coming off, i doubt it would. Id imagine the enviroment in a woman's vagina, is a little harsher, than in a bath.
However i do doubt two of you's will fit in a regular bath.

I would wonder about the bubble bath, if it would damage the material of the condom. Assuming this is your committed partner, try some spermicide. If not, study up on the effects of soaps on latex.

This is either some sort of prank or actcually a very active sex life. I cant guess right now. I would say it would be a squeeze in a average sized bath, there really only made for one person.

Also, watch out for the taps ;)

Omg introduce your girlfriend to the pill... If she is on the pill and you are worrying about std's, I would not say diluted bubblebath would have any effect on a condom. Some oil based lubricants do however.

If the condom does come off you are exposed to a risk but in anycase being in a bath would probably have the same amount of risk as swimming in your local swimming pool.

My 2 cents or 4 euro as they are now :)

It's not a good idea to have sex with your partner in a bubble bath - for her sake.

The (rather graphic) fact of the matter is that every time you push into her, you'll take some bubble bath with you. Despite jammy_dodgers belief that the environment inside a woman's vagina is 'harsh', it's actually quite a delicate landscape up there, and the introduction of a soap substance could cause anything from irritation to a minor infection to a dose of thrush etc. etc.

    Suggestion:

1.) Share bubble bath, lots of soapy rubbing (externally) etc.
2.) Get out of bath, mutual towel dry.
3.) Get on the bathroom floor and have wild monkey weasel sex in the dry.

Isn't also meant to be dangerous even if it's just plain water? Something about the a build up/pressure of the water causing something to rupture* inside the woman?

    * I don't mean a condom.

, and the introduction of a soap substance could cause anything from irritation to a minor infection to a dose of thrush etc. etc.

There's that and there's always the true urban myth of the people who get stuck together mid coitus because of the vacuum created in the bath and have to go to hospital stuck together to get seperated.

While this would make a great story for the pub, it'd be a bit of an inconvenience if all you were after was a bit of rufty.

True urban myth - is there such a thing?

And how would you go to hospital if you were stuck to the bath?

Why am I asking so many questions?

    I wouldn't risk it personally.

soon as the guy loses the hardon they wouldnt be stuck together

therefore true urban myth = bum

OK, I should have left out the urban myth thing, I just thought all of you would have heard about it and assumed it was false, it's true.
The vacuum that gets created means that you can't lose the hard-on, it's like having your penis in one of those pumps that Austin Powers has and leaving it there, or like using a c0ck ring so the hard on stays

"And how would you go to hospital if you were stuck to the bath?"

With great difficulty, hence the amusing story. Probably, you'd have to make your way to the phone with her legs wrapped around your hips, think of your own mental picture...

If you were to quote me correctly, i said 'harsher' (theres a difference)

But in the end of it all, that vacume thingy sounds nasty, Id play it safe, rather than sorry.

Stay out of the bath, its a place to get clean, not dirty.

All the baths in the world wouldn't wash away the sin of having sex before marriage. Has no one on these bopards any morals?
As for the pill it is not allowed in the catholic church nor indeed are condoms for that matter.
Sex is not about fun its about comitment and procreation.
Sex in a bath is a perversion of natural love making to be honest. Stick to your bedroom behind closed door with your wife. Have the bath afterwards.

    I agree with FB.

If you are going to go ahead though, a bath of bubble spermicide is the only safe way.

Send me your wives.. and your baths... and your spermicide.

I will put them all to good use.

Lake Hotel Killarney has those big jacuzzi baths, a treat not to be missed. Just don't put in any bubble bath.

Next dirty weekend, that's the plan. Nice plug by the way (no pun intended) Do you work for them?

Not to mention that you'd get water everywhere and it's a pain to mop up.
    Hypothetically speaking, of course.

In catholicism, getting drunk out of your mind is a bigger sin than sex before marriage - they just don't want you to know that in case you "go mad humping like a rabbit".

Catholicism is the only religion to have rehab for the soul (purgatory), where your soul gets "flushed out" before entry to Heaven.

In fact, according to Catholicism, to be damned to hell you'd have to do sonething really bad like murder or rape.

Catholicism is surprisingly liberal - just keep it quiet...

Actually, depending on circumstance, they are.

Really, but God told us to "go forth and multiply" and gave us these fun genital things to multiply with. Is it actaully possible to multiply without soem fun?

Isn't cleanliness next to Godliness? And how can sex be a perversion if God told us to do it?

and what? I find the remark offensive. Is saying "And?" intended to iintimidate me, or provoke me into saying something personal?, or just to demonstrate you don't care if you offend people with offhand misogynistic remarks? Because you're tough and that makes you right eh?
