    I was quite worried he wasn't going to sign a new contract, as what he says is true:
    "This is a key time for Arsenal - the next two or three years will be very important for the club's history."
    If the Arse don't win major trophies before and during the swap over to Ashburton Grove I can see them losing the backbone of the team - Vieira, Henry, Wenger - which would take a long time to recover from. But with Vieira and Henry on new contracts, the chances of that happening are at least reduced.

    IF they are still there once the transition is finished I think Arsenal could become a much bigger team in Europe, once the cash starts to flow in. Fingers crossed :/
