John - board speed!!!

    John - speed seems really weird on the boards over the last couple of days. At home (on my 28.8 connect) it's cack!!! But, I get into college (which has a 28.8 connect to the main campus in Galway) and I get warp speed - this I attribute to it all being on HEA Net???
    Anyway - was wondering if anything happened to the connection that's causing all the hastles?

    Hate to burst the conspiracy stories but the reason the boards were oh so slow over the weekend (at home for you!) was that UCG's main nameserver was down while their gateway was still up, meaning that local DNS requests took ages and ages to resolve.
